My Thoughts:

The Eagles needed to make changes on this roster after a disappointing 2015 campaign and they accomplished just that with as many as seven free agents brought in who are capable of winning starting jobs. Both starting guards should feature new starters this year as veterans Stefan Wisniewski and Brandon Brooks are capable, dependable starters. The defensive secondary will also be made over in 2016 with as many as three of the starting five positions (CB1,CB2, NB, SS, FS) made over with free agent acquisitions. Leodis McCalvin will start at one cornerback position, Rodney McCleod will start at free safety in all likelihood while Ron Brooks has a real chance to step into the nickel back position. Of the three receivers added only Rueben Randle really looks capable of stepping into a prominent role and coming off of a 8-touchdown season he is capable of elevating up to WR2 in this offense. Nigel Bradham has a real chance to start at the Will Linebacker position as well.

The Eagles let go of some talent as well this season, parting ways with running back DeMarco Murray, quarterback Mark Sanchez and receiver Riley Cooper. Also defensive tackle Cedric Thornton was let loose. I really dislike the draft this season for the Eagles and do not really get moving up in the draft and losing a bunch of picks to take a quarterback. They already had Sam Bradford in house who did a decent job last year and the Eagles had a lot of holes to fill. That said if Carson Wentz is close to Joe Flacco than Shane Falco everything will be ok down the road in Philadelphia. I don't see a single player drafted who is likely to start this season and many look to be NFL depth caliber players throughout their career. Not much help in all likelihood in this draft.

Even with the poor draft of the Eagles, I really like the offseason moves and the veteran players brought in. When you can add seven players via free agency and plug them into your starting positions, you have done a good job finding value and the Eagles did just that. They should be better in many ways than they were a year ago but the Eagles will need to catch fire at running back and hope the quarterback situation doesn't become a headache to put together a solid season.
