Looking at a live launch date of March 1st / 2017
Hello everyone! I will be still be updating rankings, cheat sheets, etc. throughout this year but looking at a live launch date of March 1st of next year. You are certainly welcome to check in throughout the year as I will have new features updated but it may not happen on a day by day basis until I finish building the back end of the site. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will be a regular down the road.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
To all the Dads out there who tirelessly devote themselves to their kids and family, I salute you. To all the Dads that donate their time to teach, to coach and to inspire their children, I respect you. Finally to all the Dads that know what it means to make family the first priority in life, I applaud you. Happy Father's day to everyone of you who try to never miss a dance recital, never miss a ball game and are always there to make your kids smile, feel safe and feel loved. You guys all rock!!!

RB MCFADDEN BREAKS ELBOW, OUT 2 MONTHS
The Dallas Cowboys veteran RB Darren McFadden broke his elbow and will miss at least the next couple of months. He has time to heal up and still be ready by the start of the season but this could also kick the door open another few inches for star rookie Ezekiel Elliot to win even more touches in his first season if the healing is delayed. McFadden had a good first season in Dallas last year but he could receive less work in 2016.

WR PERRIMAN COULD MISS ANOTHER SEASON
Terrible news in Baltimore as Ravens 2nd-year wide receiver Breshad Perriman suffered a partially torn ACL in his left knee and could miss the entire 2016 season. There is hope that it only costs him a couple of months but it is wait and see at this point. After missing his entire rookie campaign, this could be a massive setback for the former 1st round pick.

TITANS LOSE STARTING LEFT GUARD TO INJURY
The Tennessee Titans suffered a huge loss on Tuesday, May 24th when starting offensive guard Byron Bell dislocated an ankle. He will almost certainly miss the entire 2016 season, leaving a hole at the starting left guard position. Not only was he slotted in as a starting guard but he was also capable of filling in at either tackle position and the team will miss his veteran play on the field.

TE EIFERT COULD MISS WEEK ONE
The Cincinnati Bengals could be without star tight end Tyler Eifert for the beginning of the regular season. Eifert will undergo ankle surgery on an ankle he injured at the Pro Bowl last season and the expected recovery period is three months. Pro Football Daily will keep on top of this situation for you going forward and reflect this in our rankings and projections.

RB GORDON ON TRACK
San Diego Chargers 2nd-year running back Melvin Gordon is moving well, cutting and accelerating during organized team activities and is on track following his microfracture knee surgery he underwent in January. The Chargers are counting on a much better season from Gordon than the disaster of his rookie campaign, when he could find no room to run, averging only 3.5 yards per carry without a rushing touchdown.

NFL TEAM PAGES UPDATED
Pro Football Daily has completed our initial NFL team analysis for all 32 NFL teams. At this time only the offensive players have been included but down the road we will also be addressing the defensive side of the ball. The majority of the players mentioned in the team reports are linkable to the player pages as well which include their stats and projections for this season.

WR WATKINS TO MISS PRESEASON
Buffalo Bills star wide receiver, 3rd year pro Sammy Watkins will likely miss the entire preseason due to the foot surgery he underwent at the end of April. At this time it appears likely that he will be healthy and ready to go at the start of the regular season but of course there is some risk here depending on how his rehabilitation goes.

ROOKIE WR COLEMAN NEEDS TO IMPROVE CONDITIONING
The Cleveland Browns 1st round pick, receiver Corey Coleman from Baylor is not in the ideal shape necessary to thrive in today's NFL. According to head coach Hue Jackson:
'He's got to get in shape. He's explosive and he can catch the ball. He's extremely talented and gifted. (But) he's one of the guys that has to get in shape. He saw himself, 'whoa, this is different.' And it is. But we'll get him to where he needs to be.'
This is nothing to be overly concerned about as of yet but it does show the jump between stardom at the collegiate level and competing at the professional level. Coleman will get there.

DE WAKE AND DOLPHINS REACH AGREEMENT
The Miami Dolphins and superstar defensive end Cam Wake have agreed to terms on a two-year, $15 million dollar extension for him to remain with the team. The 34-year old former Pro Bowl starting end is coming off of a torn achilles that could have ended his career but he is back near full strength and will be a valuable asset to the team this season. He may find his time reduced in 2016 but coming off the bench as a pass rushing ace would still be a huge boon to the Dolphins organization. Good to see a great guy like Wake finish his career off as a Dolphin.

THE JAGUARS ARE TRENDING
The rise of the Jacksonville Jaguars is upon us as they added another potential superstar on defense with the second round selection of OLB Myles Jack from UCLA. A top-ten talent who fell due to some injury concerns, he will team up with last year top pick Dante Fowler and this year's 1st round pick CB Jalen Ramsey to completely transform the Jaguars suspect defense. Watch out NFL, the Jaguars are coming!

The Miami Dolphins may have landed the steal of the NFL Draft when projected top-three pick OT Laremy Tunsil fell to their 13th pick. Big, athletic and talented, Tunsil fell due to his social media account being hacked and a photo of him smoking a bong from years ago was put up. He owned the photo and explained it was from a long time ago but many teams got cold feet, explaining his fall from grace. The Dolphins needed offensive line help and got perhaps the best lineman to come out in 3-4 years.

Well it is NFL Draft weekend, truly one of my favorite times of the entire offseason. Every team has a chance to improve their rosters and make a post season push at this time of season and it is a time of optimism and possibilities for teams, staff and fans alike. Round 1 is in the books and you can read up on our thoughts using the links below.

Did you know that the 2013 Denver Broncos and the 2011 New Orleans Saints are the only two teams in the past five seasons to compile over 2000 total fantasy points. They both managed to score well over 500 points as well on the season.
On the flip side, were you aware that 2011 Rams are the only NFL team in the past five seasons that failed to score 200 points in a season. The miserable 193 points the Rams scored was without question, a season to forget in St. Louis thanks to a brutal 9 passing touchdowns and only 7 rushing touchdowns.
Pro Football Daily Mail Slot 2016
The lock has been opened and our 2016 Mail Slot is officially open for business. If you have an interesting fantasy football question that needs an
answer, send it our way and we will answer it. If it is a well crafted, intriguing question, it will be featured here on our site. Click on the Mailbox graphic below to send us a question.

Yo Chris! I remember you from FBGs. You were always one of my favorites there. Happy to see you back doing your thing dawg! Anyways, my question is this. I will be picking second in my fantasy league this season (yes I sucked last year after following another site's advice), who the heck should I target there? My league has pretty standard scoring with the following lineup requirements. Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE and 1 FLEX at RB,WR or TE. Oh and it is a PPR league as well. Thanks for the excellent work on the website. Been reading through it all and love it. Oh and nice work on the Offensive line write ups. So many sites don't bother with grades, etc. as they are not willing to put their money where their mouth is. Rock on brotha!
Bill from Oregon
Hi Bill. Thanks for being a part of what we do here. I am happy when long time readers of my work find their way to my site. Hope you stick around and I help you achieve your fantasy goals.
In regards to your question, on our website, we have a rankings section that has a number of different types of leagues to choose from in which the rankings are always updated using our diverse database. I just happen to have one that exactly mirrors your own league.
Link to your League rankings
We also have a cheat sheet you can print off from that page to help you in your draft. Eventually we will have a drafting app to use but I actually prefer in many ways the simplicity of a cheat sheet and highlighting the picks as you go.
Using those rankings above, the answer to your question is to go with the safe picks which is a trifecta of receiver talents to choose from. That is if Le'Veon Bell goes off the board with the first pick. From two to four I have Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham and Julio Jones ranked second through fourth and any of the three would be excellent selections. Good luck and happy drafting.
Best of luck!
